Restaurant Primo

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and nice menu. Our favourites the Jerusalem Artichoke and Ravioli Giuliana, the portions are generous with unforgettable flavours. Primo is a must if you want to taste the great Italian cuisine in Menton

I give 5 stars for the kitchen and their work on the dishes. The pasta is very delicious! The service is horrendous, it is chaos to the point that we were laughing the whole dinner, watching it like a circus performance. Also we got two spritzes and one of them lacked limoncello, but the other one had way too much. The place really needs to step up with these two points, I feel really bad for the chefs that are doing an amazing job. And guess they have to rush sometimes which could lead to lower quality of the dishes for some.

Food was AMAZING. We got the rabbit ragu pasta and the lobster pasta and both were UNREAL. So much flavour and sauce, everything was cooked perfectly. Beautiful views as well, vibes were great. 10/10.

We had an amazing birthday dinner for my boyfriend. We did not have a reservation on a busy Saturday night, but they greeted us kindly and gave us a wonderful, sea view table. The pasta was delicious and the service warm and friendly. Limoncello after dessert was a nice touch. Definitely our best meal in the French Riviera. Highly recommend!

Primo is hands down our favorite restaurant in Menton. The pasta here is on another level — every dish is carefully thought out and absolutely delicious. The Alba is outstanding, and the carbonara, prepared right in front of you inside a giant cheese wheel, is not just a showpiece — it’s the most incredible carbonara I’ve ever had, full stop. The service is spot-on: warm, attentive, and friendly. Just make sure you book ahead — this place fills up quickly, and for good reason. What we loved most is that it worked for the whole family. Even our kids dove into the different flavors and absolutely loved the pasta. During our stay in Menton, we ended up eating here three times — it’s that good.

We had dinner at this restaurant and really enjoyed it. We ordered the Alba and the Cacio e pepe and both were delicious. The owner and servers were very nice and created an awesome atmosphere. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Located next to the famous staircase this restaurant serves a variety of delicious pasta. We got a table fairly quickly and were seated outdoors with a fantastic beach view. Ordered Caesar salad, Casarecce with seafood from the gulf, MOANA (Black cuttlefish fettuccine, cuttlefish and crispy bacon, cherry tomato and zucchini) & ALBA (Fresh ricotta ravioli and lemon zest, in a creamy Menton lemon sauce with Mediterranean pink shrimp tartare) The portions for the salad and MOANA were especially generous but the highlight was definitely the lemon zest ravioli which was so refreshing! The price was decent too considering it being at a touristy spot! I’d totally recommend to stop by for a meal!
